Sure, I'm a little biased, but TRULY the highlight of the evening (for me) was P.J. Schoeny as John Merrick. I'm not sure who wrote that one, but man oh man- did you ever imagine that the ONE GUY who came to act would actually have played the Elephant Man before? Kismet. And the juxtaposition of the characters was really cool. And P.J. made me cry. And and and.
I think Bill's idea of bringing in the "mash-up" genre for music into theatre was a really cool one, and one worth exploring. The Elephant Man and Hello Dolly are certainly two plays you would never expect next to each other.
